Insight Donates $50,000 to Make-A-Wish as Part of 12th Annual Noble Cause Drive
Insight’s partners, teammates contribute over $270,000 total to year-end giving campaign supporting nonprofits for children
Chandler, Ariz., January 03, 2023 — Insight Enterprises (NASDAQ:NSIT), a Fortune 500 solutions integrator helping organizations accelerate their digital journey, has presented Make-A-Wish Arizona with a $50,000 donation as part of Insight’s 2022 Noble Cause fundraising campaign supporting nonprofit organizations that serve children in need.
In 2022, Insight teammates raised $21,000 in addition to the company’s overall annual commitment of $250,000 to Noble Cause made through donations from Insight’s partner community. Key participating partners this year included AMD, Dell Technologies, Fujitsu, Google, HP, HPE, Intel, Lexmark, Logitech, Micro Focus, Microsoft Surface, Quest, Samsung, SonicWall and Suse.
“Noble Cause is an annual campaign we run with the support of our incredible partner network, and it's near and dear to my heart as just one of many ways we join forces to inspire children through the power of technology,” said Bob Kane, senior vice president and general manager of U.S. enterprise sales. “It’s amazing how much more we can accomplish when we work together and put our hearts into helping great organizations like Make-A-Wish.”
Since 2015, Noble Cause has raised over $2 million for Make-A-Wish, Ronald McDonald House Charities and Boys & Girls Club of America, as part of Insight’s Reach program helping underprivileged children fulfill their potential through technology grants and programs. Insight plays a leadership role as well, with CFO Glynis Bryan serving on the board of Boys & Girls Club of the Valley and Carisa Bianchi, vice president, North America controller, a board member for Make-A-Wish Arizona.
Insight and its teammates have donated nearly $700,000 to Make-A-Wish Arizona under Noble Cause, helping make approximately 70 wishes a reality for children dealing with critical illness.
Fran Mallace, Make-A-Wish Arizona president and CEO, received Insight’s latest contribution during a ceremony Dec. 14 at Insight’s headquarters in Chandler.
“Having a local powerhouse like Insight be a partner for our wish kids shows how one company can make a difference in the life of a child dealing with a critical illness,” said Mallace. “At Make-A-Wish Arizona, we are always inspired by our wish kids. Now, we are inspired by Insight, a company generously committed to those wish kids.”
